Cuil Review

I just tried the brand-spanking-new Cuil search engine founded by highly respected ex-Google employees. Here was my test:

Search query: http://www.cuil.com/search?q=FAIL

Response: “Sorry, an error occurred. Please try your search again. If the problem persists, please be assured that our team is working quickly to resolve the issue.”

Is this a bad search result , or is it actually stunningly accurate?

McDonald’s Tamien Bain Problem: Solved

According to the Miami Herald, Tamien Bain, a Miami man who held up a McDonald’s at gunpoint in 1994, is one of the five finalists in a contest for a new jingle promoting the Big Mac.

What Should McDonald’s Do?

1. Let him win the contest.
2. Then, the second he gets his hands on the prize money, BAM! you have the Hamburglar steal it back at gunpoint.
3. Capture the whole thing on video
4. Title it “McFail”
5. Put it on Fail Blog. Instant viral goodness.
