You can’t solve it by working longer, or thinking harder.
What you need is a pillow. And the sweet, crazy, productive dreams that arise when you stop struggling to make logical sense out of a world that defies logic.
More than that, you need a good excuse for why you’re sleeping on the job. I’m happy to oblige. Scientists (the wonderfully lazy kind) have found evidence that “sleeping on the problem” seems to stimulate new brain connections that promote learning by turning a weak memory into a stronger one.
